Tour of Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan

Description: Take a bus tour of Saskatoon and find out where the best places are for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Also, find the answers to these questions about the university by going on a walking tour of the University of Saskatchewan campus: Where do I buy my books? Where is a good coffee shop? Where is the University library? Can I use the University Fitness Centre?

First Nations Cultural Celebration and Pow Wow

Description: You will become immersed in First Nations culture at Credit Union Centre. Enjoy traditional drumming, dancing, and singing competitions, and much more! There will also be a trade show where you can purchase handicrafts.

Fall Supper at Knox United Church (#1)

Description: Enjoy a Saskatchewan tradition. The Fall Supper celebrates the end of harvest with a feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries.....everything! Yum!

 

 

Saskatoon Symphony

Description: We will go to the Adam Ballroom in the Delta Bessborough Hotel. The Saskatoon Symphony features many professional musicians. This concert will celebrate Mozart’s 250th Birthday.

 

 

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Description: Get together with your classmates and carve a Jack-o-lantern (a pumpkin). Your class will choose its favourite Jack-o-lantern and place it in the student lounge for everyone to see. The Jack-o-lanterns will be judged on Tuesday.

Description: Join in the tradition of Hallowe'en! You will go out trick-or-treating to collect money for UNICEF and hopefully get some candy for yourself! When you return to the student lounge, it will be transformed into a scary haunted house!

Description: Come in from the cold, learn the rules of mini-golf, and play a round in the comfort of Market Mall. This course is surrounded by water ponds, fountains and indoor plants. It has contoured greens, sand traps, and water hazards.

Enchanted Christmas at the Refinery and Enchanted Forest at the Forestry Farm

Description: Enjoy 2 Saskatchewan Christmas traditions: listening to an enchanting Christmas choir and viewing magical Christmas lights. The SIGA Enchanted Forest is a mystical, magical Christmas light display along a 3 km route at Saskatoon's Forestry Farm Park. It is ranked as the Top Winter Tourist Attraction in Saskatchewan and one of the most spectacular Christmas Light Displays in Canada! Don't worry~ you don't have to walk. We'll provide transportation.
